San Diego Renters Insurance For Residents

PURE Property Management requires that all residents carry renters insurance, with a minimum coverage to include $100,000 of Liability to Landlord coverage. As part of our Resident Benefit Package, you will automatically be enrolled for protection at move-in with Renter Content Coverage, Tenant Liability Insurance Coverage and Renters Bodily Injury Coverage. This keeps you in compliance with your lease insurance requirements. If you acquire your own renter’s insurance you can choose to opt-out of the insurance upon notification to our property management team.

Options to Acquire Renter’s Insurance

If you wish to obtain renters insurance in addition to, or instead of, the Liability to Landlord Insurance, there are several options our residents have for purchasing such insurance. If additional renters insurance is acquired, list PURE Property Management as additional insured.

1. ROOST Renter’s Insurance

As an approved PURE Property Management resident, you can also easily order and obtain renter’s insurance through ROOST by simply logging into our online Resident Portal and looking for the link to apply for a ROOST Renters Insurance policy. You can also reach ROOST Renters Insurance by calling (844) 788-0877. The cost of insurance depends on the amount of coverage you desire for your personal belongings. 2. Private Renter’s Insurance

The other option is private renter's insurance through the resident's personal insurance broker that handles their auto and other insurance policies (State Farm, All State, Travelers, USAA, etc.).
