North County San Diego Market Trends Remain Strong

With home prices and mortgage rates on the rise, here are some San Diego market trends that all renters, homeowners, or prospective buyers should want to know.  The main metric of current San Diego market trends is the overall demand for detached homes, both rentals and sales remains strong in North County San Diego


The another key metric of San Diego market trends is median priced single family detached home in North San Diego County during the month of July 2013 dipped slightly to 564,000 compared to $565,000 in June 2013. While the median home price in North County held steady from June to July, home prices jumped 28.40 percent compared to July 2012. A total of 1,067 single-family detached units were sold in North San Diego County during the month of July 2013, increasing by 5.12 percent compared to June 2013. Year-over sold SFD units jumped 15.98 percent compared to July 2012.

Total sales volume in North San Diego County for July 2013 was $752,915,925 an increase of 43.22 percent compared to July 2012. Median days-on-market for single-family detached homes sold in North County was 17 days in July, compared to 19 days in June.
